So back in June of 2003 I gave a talk at The North American Network Operators Group (NANOG) on Network Interception Technology. Frankly I forgot all about it (and at the moment cannot find the source of the slides!). However what reminded me of it is that someone unknown to me uploaded it to docstock.com (which I need to figure out what that is all about!). I suspect they found it on the NANOG site and uploaded. Why? Who knows.
In any event I re-read the presentation and even though it is now 7 years old, I believe it is still relevant, so here it is:
